Doug brings more than 30 years of public service to this race, with a career built on managing complex systems, leading public infrastructure, and making decisions that affect the daily lives of the people he serves.
He has served as Director of Public Works, Executive Director of the Danville Sanitary District, and currently as Alderman for Ward 7. In each role, Doug has focused on responsible leadership, long-term planning, and practical solutions that work.
Doug is running for Mayor because he believes Danville is ready for a different kind of leadership. Leadership that listens first. Leadership that invites participation. Leadership that expects more from itself.
At the center of his campaign is a commitment to building a community-based Strategic Plan that aligns Danville’s infrastructure, services, and spending with today’s realities and tomorrow’s opportunities.
